How I became a wig maker.
So here's a little back story on how I got into making wigs.
As I've been fitting hair integration systems for a few years now when a friend of mine needed a wig making I knew that I could help her.
We looked together online at synthetic wigs which just looked 'wiggy' (for want of a better word) and a lot of them looked old fashioned. Blonde hair looking shiny and not realistic and the cost was high for hair that is not real.
I knew I could make a real human hair wig using my extension and hair integration knowledge but I had a few things I wasn't quite sure about so found an online course through a credited company and I quickly learned my new skills to be able to provide my friend with her new hair.
So I now offer this service widely, to bring confidence to those suffering with hair loss through illness or to any one who just wishes to change here look with a wig as an alternative to colour and extensions.
What to expect.
On request I will book you in for a free consultation if you are able to come to the salon. This is always the best way communicate what it is you require from your new hair.
We will go through your preferred hair colour, length and style.
Head measurements are taken to ensure the correct sized cap is used and we can decide if extra clips, bands or adjustable straps will be needed. I will let you know how long it will be expected to take to make and a deposit will be taken to secure your new hair order.
From here we can book your fitting appointment, for you to try on your new hair, make any adjustments and cut any fringes or shape in where needed.

and communicating via email or messages. Going over all of the above and posting your new hair to you when ready.
